1938 AL Game: Bsn. at Detroit. Greenberg hits #60

August 7, 1938

For a number of reasons it's been quite awhile since I've played SOM Baseball. However, in my 1st game back, Detroit's Hank Greenberg connected for HR #60 in a 10-2 loss to the Boston Red Sox. The Tigers have hit a rough patch, losing 4 in a row, and are now 5-5 in their last ten games. But Greenberg continues to belt Hr's and has now tied the MLB record set by Babe Ruth.
